One of the first questions I’m always asked when talking about river cruising is, “which European river is your favortie?”. This is a tough question for me to answer. Not because I don’t know which river is my favorite, it’s because my favorite river may not be theirs. The truth is, it depends on a destination that holds a particular interest to you. For example:
If you are interested in seeing medieval Europe’s fairytale castles and soaring fortresses then the Rhine River might be perfect for you.
If you want to experience romantic cities, foodie havens & artistic experiences, then look no further than France’s Rhône River.
Now if you’re like me and you enjoy awe-inspiring architecture, breathtaking landscapes and culinary delights, then you’ll want to consider sailing down the Danube River, which by-the-way happens to be the most popular river to sail.

Mykong River - This is on my bucket list. Every friend and colleague who has experienced this river cruise tells me it’s life changing, and that I have to do it.
